Despite a brutal season last year for the Cleveland Browns' offensive line, many of the same pieces will be back again for the 2025 season. Coach Mike Bloomgren was brought in early this year to replace Andy Dickerson, who only made it one season after replacing a legend, Bill Callahan, who went to Tennessee to coach under his son.
Other than the coach, Dawand Jones slipping to left tackle will be the only other change to this year's starting group that gave up 66 last year, which was enough for the bottom three in the entire league.
Injuries plagued this group last year, and with a transformed Jones and a new offensive scheme, there is a light at the end of the tunnel that there will be some success up front. Jones said in an article to Chris Easterling that he lost 20 pounds this offseason but also shed a ton of body fat.

In live pass protection drills, it’s always more challenging for the offense as the defense can just pin their ears back and rush with no thought of a screen or draw, but in a short clip caught by Joe Person today, Jones looks quicker, leaner, and just as strong as in the past.
The interior line will need to hold up this year, but filling a void at left tackle, which has been there since the departure of Joe Thomas, would be a massive win for the Browns in 2025.
