The Cleveland Browns are coming off one of their worst seasons in quite sometime. Their three wins were their fewest in a campaign since going 0-16 in 2017. Because of this, not many fans outside of Ohio are lining up to watch the Browns every Sunday, which has resulted in USA Today ranking the Browns as the least entertaining team in the NFL.
"A cringeworthy quarterback competition might be the only facet of the Browns worth wider attention," Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz writes. "Once that gets settled over the summer, Cleveland will seemingly try to minimize its shortcomings behind center by emphasizing a ground-and-pound approach that might grow dull before the leaves turn. Having dealt away a shot at Travis Hunter to acquire an additional first-round pick in 2026, even the team itself seems to be letting everyone know to check back next year."
There is quite the shortage of star power on the Browns, specifically on offense. The quarterback room is barren, and the biggest star is a fifth-round pick in Shedeur Sanders. Out wide, they have Jerry Jeudy but the wide receivers room as a whole is a bunch of broken parts thrown together. The Browns will have a lot of over-achieving to do in order to prove a lot of people wrong.
