With the departure of Elijah Moore and Amari Cooper, who started the 2024 season in Cleveland, the Browns’ wide receiver room is already thin. Jerry Jeudy, Diontae Johnson and Cedric Tillman are the only three receivers with significant NFL experience.
Tillman has shown bursts of strong play on the field after seeing a solid number of snaps in his first two seasons, but he has struggled to stay healthy at both the collegiate and NFL levels.
Last season, a concussion sidelined him for the second half of the season, and on Friday, he had what appeared to be a “serious” lower leg injury that required the cart to come out to the field.
#Browns Kevin Stefanski said WR Cedric Tillman (lower left leg) will be out here today and he thinks they dodged a bullet.

Fortunately for the Browns, Tillman returned to practice with the team on Sunday. In his third year, he is expected to be a major contributor to the Browns’ offense.
