Cleveland Browns receiver Jerry Jeudy is highly impressed with Shedeur Sanders after the “Grown QB” completed 14/23 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers this past Friday.

Sanders started the Browns’ preseason opener after injuries to Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel and put himself in the mix to overtake them on the depth chart before Week 1.

Jeudy gave Shedeur “kudos” and got technical on Sanders’ proficient performance.

“Shedeur got a great arc, very accurate,” Jeudy told reporters Monday, per the Browns. “He threw two great, accurate balls, and the last one, he went through all his progressions. It was his last read. For him as a young quarterback to be able to make those progressions, kudos to him.”

Head coach Kevin Stefanski agreed that kudos were in order in the immediate aftermath of Sanders’ stellar debut.

“I'm pleased with Shedeur, pleased with the offense... Again, not perfect, plenty that we can work on. But I thought the guys did a really nice job. Shedeur and operating. The guys' making plays, so again, a ton to teach on,” Stefanski said.

With that said, Stefanski played coy while answering any questions about Sanders getting more reps with the first-team during joint practices with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Chances are, Sanders probably isn’t getting more first-team reps. But if nothing else, he has the support of Jeudy, Myles Garrett, and several important leaders in the locker room.
