The Cincinnati Bengals need to see better production from their offensive line in the 2025 season, to not only protect quarterback Joe Burrow but also open create better holes in the running game. Spending a third-round pick on guard Dylan Fairchild was one move the Bengals made in an effort to add more talent on the line after spending a first-round pick on Amarius Mims last season.
Recently, former Bengals safety and current NFL analyst Solomon Wilcots discussed the offensive line on 'Bleav in Bengals' podcast with guest Trevor Sikkema and how the team could overcome their poor play from last year.
How will the @Bengals overcome an Offensive Line ranked 31st by @PFF entering the 2025 season?

After having their offensive line ranked 31st by Pro Football Focus, Sikkema discussed the talent level of Burrow and wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, and their ability to work past rough line play. Pointing out Chase and Higgins ability to get open and make contested coaches, the Bengals are able to allow Burrow to work in both the long and short-distance passing game.
Wilcots also put the pressure on head coach Zac Taylor, who will have to get creative and unique with his schemes to continue to roll out this high-powered offense even with a poor offensive line. As has been the case recently, Cincinnati will have to rely on Burrow and their head coach to make the most out of what they have on the offensive line, while hoping that their young talent grows and develops to help improve the play of the unit.
