Josh Allen and his head coach, Sean McDermott, disagree.
It almost certainly won't be a crippling disagreement. But it's still interesting.
The Buffalo Bills' superstar quarterback likes the tush push, the specialized QB sneak play. McDermott doesn't.
Allen's approach is this, via Sports Illustrated: "If you don't like it, my advice is to stop it, you know?"
McDermott takes a stand as a safety advocate on the issue: "My position hasn't really changed at all. I feel where I'm most concerned is even though there's not significant data out there to this point, my biggest concern is that of the health and safety of the players first and foremost."
There isn't necessarily evidence that the tush push is actually a dangerous play, but that's a popular refrain among those who have tried to get it banned.

A vote to eliminate the tush push nearly passed this offseason but didn't, so it's still around for the 2025 season.
The Philadelphia Eagles, and squat-king QB Jalen Hurts, are the first proponents of it and one of the best.
The Bills with Allen are the other best team at the play, so it seems like from a strategic standpoint, they'd like keeping it around.
They certainly will still call it as long as it's allowed, because Allen on a QB sneak is nearly unstoppable.
