The Buffalo Bills have one of the most special quarterbacks in NFL history. Josh Allen is coming off the most efficient season of his career, despite many believing he and the Bills would take a step back after trading Stefon Diggs, Instead, Allen won MVP and led the Bills to the AFC Championship Game.
And while Allen is incredible, is it time to say he is the No. 1 quarterback in the NFL? Sam Monson of The 33rd Team thinks so.
Speaking on Check The Mic, Monson declared Josh Allen to be the best quarterback in the NFL, surpassing Patrick Mahomes as the top signal-caller.
"I believe the best quarterback right now is Josh Allen," Monson said. "I think he's become the guy. For years, it was Patrick Mahomes... The start of Mahomes's career was absolutely mind blowing. The last couple of years though, he's not been that guy, and really, it's been Josh Allen."
Last season it was pretty indisputable that Allen was better than Mahomes. Unfortunately for Allen, though, his defense let him down again in the biggest moment of the season, allowing the Kansas City Chiefs to score 30 points for the first time all season in the loss.
Allen and Mahomes are this generation's Brady and Manning, and it's only a matter of time before Allen gets his 2006 AFC Championship Game moment.
