The Baltimore Ravens want to get over the hump in the AFC.
That hump, of course, is the Kansas City Chiefs. And the Ravens need all the juice they can get to surge by and into a Super Bowl.
What if they had a chance at help?
They could go after Micah Parsons, who has requested a trade away from the Dallas Cowboys.
That's what Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio suggests.
"The best candidates would be a contending team that hopes to go all in," Florio wrote. "Their first-round picks would likely be low. The impact Parsons makes could be significant. The obvious candidates are the Bills and the Ravens. Both want to get past the Chiefs. Parsons could help make that happen."
MORE: Micah Parsons breaks silence on his trade request
Parsons posted on social media on Friday to request his trade.
This is, in part, what he wrote:
"Yes I wanted to be here. I did everything I could to show that I wanted to be a Cowboy and wear the star on my helmet. I wanted to play in front of the best fans in sports and make this America's Team once again. The team my pops and I grew up cheering for way up in Harrisburg, Pa. Unfortunately, I no longer want to be here. I no longer want to be held to closed door negotiations without my agent present. I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization, our fans and my teammates. I no longer want narratives created and spread to the media about me."

Parsons is the best young defensive player in football. In each of his first four seasons out of Penn State, he's had at least 12 sacks.
He's due for a record-setting contract extension to make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
If the Ravens could somehow get him, they'd clearly be happy to pay him, even if Jerry Jones for some reason isn't.
