The Baltimore Ravens have big goals.

They want this to be the season they finally get over the hump and get past the Kansas City Chiefs and into the Super Bowl.

To do that, a team needs some luck, sure, but also immense talent, depth and polish.

There's a way for the Ravens to add some more of that still out there in free agency.

Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox predicts that Baltimore will sign Jadeveon Clowney in September.

"Clowney is one of the most prolific players left on the market," Knox writes. "The three-time Pro Bowler has never developed into an elite sack artist, but he's been a strong all-around defender who put up solid numbers again in 2024. In 14 games with the Carolina Panthers last season, Clowney recorded 5.5 sacks, 46 tackles and nine tackles for loss."

Clowney has a positive past in Baltimore, too.

"Clowney logged 9.5 sacks with the Ravens in 2023, when current defensive coordinator Zach Orr coached under Macdonald," Knox writes. "Baltimore, meanwhile, is chasing a Super Bowl and could use edge depth behind Kyle Van Noy and Odafe Oweh. If the Ravens' pass rush is lagging early in the year, Clowney should get a call."

The former No. 1 overall pick out of South Carolina, Clowney made it clear last month that he doesn't plan on retiring.

It's all about finding the right fit at this stage of a pass rusher's career.

Baltimore would have plenty of familiarity to offer, along with the chance to play in some massive games, starting in Week 1 on Sunday Night Football against the Bills.

Clowney certainly would fit right in to what the Ravens are trying to do, so don't be surprised if that's where he winds up.
