Ray Lewis, one of the greatest players in Baltimore Ravens history, has a chance to become a college head coach. Adam Schefter reported this morning that Lewis is a candidate to be the next head coach at Florida Atlantic University.

Florida Atlantic fired Tom Herman, who had a 6-16 record during his two season tenure as their head coach. Lewis, the Hall of Fame linebacker that struck fear into his opponents every single week, doesn't have coaching experience but would be a fantastic hire to jumpstart a struggling program.
His pregame speeches alone would motivate his players to perform harder, as he always knows the right message to send in the locker room. In his 17 years with the Ravens, Lewis managed to be named to 12 Pro Bowls, seven First Team All-Pro lists, two Defensive Player of the Year awards and won two Super Bowls.
Adding the title of 'head coach' to his extensive resume would be a monumental feat.
