The Baltimore Ravens were given a huge bit of praise on Monday when ESPN ranked them as having the No. 1 roster in the NFL.
But there was one glaring issue pointed out in the analysis: The Ravens failed to address their biggest weakness.
Right guard Daniel Faalele ranked "among the worst in the league in run block win rate" last season at 71.8%, wrote ESPN's Mike Clay.
Despite that, Faalele is back to start at right guard yet again.
The Ravens also had bad left guard play in 2024 from Patrick Mekari. Clay writes that the options to replace him are Andrew Vorhees, Ben Cleveland or a rookie.

Baltimore wants a Super Bowl, and the reality is that if everyone but their guards are great, they can still do that.
It's just a bit curious that Faalele struggled yet didn't get any obvious competition.
Baltimore could still have different plans up their sleeve, and training camp could reveal that. But for now, it looks like the Ravens may have missed out on a chance to upgrade at a weaker spot.
