Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens dominated the New York Giants in Week 15, 35-14. Jackson helped put on an offensive clinic, tossing 290 yards and five touchdowns on the day.

There was another notable takeaway from Jackson's performance: he listened to his mom's words and ran the ball more often. He finished the game with six carries for 65 yards, averaging 10.8 yards per attempt. His Houdini-type talent was on display during his 21 yard escape, while simultaneously trying to hold his pants up.

Jackson's 65 rushing yards against the Giants put him over 6,000 total for his career, joining Michael Vick as the only two quarterbacks in NFL history to reach that feat. Vick ended his career with 6,109 rushing yards, with Jackson up to 6,001. It's fair to say that Jackson will be surpassing Vick's record very soon.

Jackson listened to his mother's advice about running the ball more and it paid off in a major way.
