Tennessee just landed one of the most versatile playmakers in the 2026 class.

Salesi Moa, a four-star prospect and the No. 2-ranked athlete in the nation, has committed to the Volunteers. The 6-foot-3 standout out of Utah is ranked No. 46 overall and brings elite upside on both sides of the ball.

For Tennessee, it’s another major recruiting win under Josh Heupel. The Vols continue to build momentum by stacking high-upside talent with SEC-ready frames, and Moa fits that mold perfectly. He’s explosive, physical, and scheme-flexible is exactly the kind of athlete who can shine in Knoxville.

It’s not yet clear where Moa will play when he enters college football,  but that’s part of what makes his commitment so valuable. He’s dominated as a receiver, a safety, and even lined up at linebacker depending on matchup and need. Wherever he lands, the Vols are getting a chess piece with game-breaking speed and toughness.

Moa took his final official visit to Tennessee the weekend of June 20, and that trip sealed the deal. Receivers coach Kelsey Pope helped lead the charge, locking in a commitment that gives Tennessee even more firepower in an already loaded class.

Tennessee’s 2026 class is still taking shape, but landing a top-50 national prospect this early sets the tone. With Moa in the mix, the ceiling just got a little higher.

Josh Heupel keeps stacking difference-makers. And with Moa, he might’ve just added one of the most dynamic in the country.
