Michigan and head coach Sherrone Moore have secured yet another commitment for the class of 2026, this time from four-star edge rusher Julian Walker.
Walker is from Columbia, South Carolina and attends Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina. He is currently slated to be the 19th member of the Wolverines' 2026 recruiting class.
The young edge rusher is ranked as the 197th player in the country, 20th-best edge rusher, and 4th-best player in South Carolina by 247Sports. He is also ranked 180th overall, 24th edge rusher, and 4th in South Carolina by On3's Industry Rating.
In a statement to On3's Hayes Fawcett, Walker said, "I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to be a MICHIGAN MAN."
According to Fawcett, Walker chose to take his talents to Ann Arbor instead of staying local at South Carolina or North Carolina.

Head coach Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines have been cooking on the recruiting trail lately, with Clarke becoming the 9th commitment in as many days. 12 class of 2026 players in total have committed to Michigan this month.
Moore and the Wolverines will look to continue momentum on the recruiting trail this summer and fall while also looking to improve on the field from an 8-5 record last season. They will be led by freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood and transfer running back Justice Haynes, who are two of the key pieces in a new look Wolverine offense under new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey.
