Hurricane Matthew continues its impact in the college football world as heavy rains pelt the Notre Dame-NC State game, which is taking place in Raleigh, N.C.
A third of the way through the second quarter, NC State led 3-0, but the scene has mainly been players sliding around the soggy field trying to maintain a grip of the soaked football.

So far, both Notre Dame has turned the ball over twice and NC State once in the soggy conditions.
The game was later delayed due to lightening.
