Arch Manning is poised for the NFL success of his uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning, and potentially, an extra feat that even they failed to achieve: the Heisman Trophy.

Manning is a top Heisman candidate in the 2025 season, a hype train everyone is riding.

On3's Clark Brooks is also on the train, vouching for Manning primarily because of his one core strength that sets him apart from his uncles, possibly setting him up for the Heisman.

"He’s got traits that translate," Brooks opined on Andy and Ari's podcast. "He can layer throws, he’s very calm in the pocket. Yes, he took some sacks last year, but I think that’s a sign of inexperience. Unlike his uncles, he’s not having to be anchored in the pocket and just be a pure on-time decision maker. He can create and can add some potency to an already scary offense with a high ceiling."

On top of the Heisman expectations, Manning also shoulders the responsibility of leading the Longhorns to the CFP and, likely, the national championship.

"He has that capability to get them to that next echelon with his playmaking, with his accuracy. And you know, he doesn’t just fall to (expletive) when he’s pressured," Brooks continued.

Manning's unlocking the feat his superstar uncles couldn't during their college days will only amplify the uproar of him going No. 1 overall in whichever year he announces for the NFL.

Perhaps the NFL expectations for him would start from eclipsing his uncles' legacies in the NFL. We'll see how his core strength that sets him apart from Payton and Eli, holds up in the long run.
