The prospect out of Weatherford, Texas is ranked No. 74 among offensive tackles, No. 135 among Texas prospects and No. 860 nationally, per 247Sports.
Gray is the fourth offensive line commitment in the class of 2026 for the Horned Frogs. Gray selected TCU over the Wildcats and Big 12 opponent Houston.
The Wildcats’ 2026 class is currently ranked No. 51 overall and No. 16 in the Big Ten. They were on a hot streak earlier this month, but haven’t had a verbal commitment since June 24.
With the acquisition of Gray, 247Sports ranks TCU’s 2026 recruiting class No. 36 nationally and fourth in the Big 12. The Weatherford native is the latest Texan on the offensive line, joining 2026 commits Jordan Burnett, Vincent Johnson Jr. and Devan Robison, all from the Lone Star State.
Gray is joining a strong program under Sonny Dykes, whose offensive line was fifth-strongest in the conference last season.

At 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds, Gray is a formidable addition to TCU’s offensive line, which graduated key seniors Mike Nichols and Bless Harris. The Horned Frogs will graduate four members of the o-line in 2026, but have solid depth on their roster with five juniors, five freshmen, four redshirt freshmen and a sophomore.
It’s a loss for Northwestern, who have three offensive linemen committed in the class of 2026, but not a surprising one. The Wildcats were weak on offense last year, ranking worst in the Big Ten and finishing 4-8 (2-7).
