Former Penn State star Micah Parsons would look great in Philadelphia Eagles colors. He'd return to his home state, likely making him and Eagles fans happy.

For the Dallas Cowboys, however, it'd be the last thing they want to see. From a team and fan base perspective, and considering other factors, allowing Parsons to play for arguably their biggest rival would be a disaster.

However, the former Penn State star is already dealing with a disaster with his own front office and ownership, as Jerry Jones hasn't given him the money he wants.

Some believe it could end up with him in an Eagles jersey, including Stephen A. Smith of ESPN. Smith recently noted, however, that the last thing the Cowboys can allow to happen is for him to go back to Pennsylvania.

"Where is he going to go if he forces his way out and you all can't reach some kind of accord?" Smith asked. "This is the National Football League. Listen, I know you don't want him to, and I know that you'll do everything you can to prevent it from happening. Don't let that brother get in an Eagles uniform. He's from Pennsylvania. Don't let him get in an Eagles uniform."

Growing up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and attending Penn State, Parsons could welcome returning to the state.

Ultimately, it isn't like Dallas is a bad place to play by any means, but if he wants his money, Howie Roseman has proven in the past that he's willing to hand out big deals for the right players.

If Parsons ever becomes a free agent, it seems safe to say that he'd get involved.
