The Oregon Ducks just suffered a huge loss before the 2025 college football season.
Former five-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey has been suspended indefinitely, according to coach Dan Lanning on Tuesday.
When asked about the suspension, Lanning mentioned how the team rules are to be on time and be respectful but wouldn’t elaborate on why Dickey was benched.

“We’ve got two team rules: That’s be respectful and be on time. There’s some pieces of that where I felt like he needed a break from us and we needed a break from that to focus on what’s in front of us right now," Lanning said.
"Wishing him nothing but the best as far as success and want to see him get back to where he can be a contributor for somewhere. That might be here. That might be somewhere else but won’t spend any more time on that.”
Dickey appeared in 14 games the last two seasons with a stat line of a two catches for 14 yards. The Ducks come into the season as the No. 7 ranked team in the preseason AP Poll. To replace Dickey, the Ducks have FSU transfer Malik Benson and a deep receiver room of upperclassmen as well.
Oregon opens the season at home against FCS opponent Montana State on Saturday, Aug 30 (4 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
