Following a stellar performance at the Elite 11 Finals, Vista Murrieta (California) quarterback Bryson Beavers was due for an update in his recruiting ranking.
After that showing, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound signal-caller picked up offers from Alabama, Colorado, Ole Miss and Oregon and emerged as one of the nation's most coveted passers.
Shortly thereafter, Beaver announced his commitment to Oregon.

Turns out, he made quite a leap
In Rivals/On3's updated list, Beaver was the highest-riser of any quarterback in the country, jumping all the way from "not rated" to the nation's No. 44 overall prospect.
Suddenly, he's not just one of the best pledges in Oregon's class - on paper - he's also one of the top quarterbacks in the country.

Overall, Beaver is one of four Ducks to make the new top 50, as he is joined by offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho (No. 11), tight end Kendre Harrison (16) and wide receiver Messiah Hampton,
