Bryce Underwood has all the hype in the world.

That comes with being the top recruit in the country. It grows when you flip a commitment from LSU to Michigan, too.

Now, Underwood is trying to prove he should be the Wolverines' starting quarterback.

If there's a tiebreaker for most unique throwing talent, Underwood might have it.

Offensive lineman Gio El-Hadi told reporters on Monday that Underwood can throw left-handed almost as well as he can throw right-handed.

Some folks just get all the talent.

Underwood has been compared to the likes of Cam Newton and Vince Young.

It won't take much for Underwood to be an improvement on the Wolverines' QB play from last season.

There's a two-pronged agenda for Underwood.

On the national stage, it's to get Michigan back to prominence after their 2023 national title and more underwhelming 2024 season.

And on a local level, he'll want to continue the four-game winning streak over Ohio State in The Game.

Both are crucial tasks.

And Underwood, with whatever arm he wants, appears ready to carry them out.
