Joe Mixon single-handedly put Oklahoma back in the game with a kickoff return for a touchdown after No. 3 Ohio State took a 14-0 lead Saturday. But the incredible 97-yard touchdown return shouldn't have counted.

Mixon clearly dropped the ball before he crossed the goal line, but replay officials missed it, giving the Sooners a huge break.

Sadly, the blooper wasn't the first time a player dropped the football before crossing the goal line. The boneheaded incident has happened numerous times, most recently with Clemson's Ray Ray McCloud.
