The Colorado Buffaloes will once again have plenty of eyeballs on them when the 2025 college football season starts.

With Deion Sanders in town as the head coach, Colorado has been something to watch.

However, a recent report stated that Coach Prime is recovering from a health issue and is still at his Texas estate, with his return to Boulder unknown.

His son, Deion Sanders Jr., addressed the issue over the weekend.

“He’ll tell y’all soon enough what he going through, what he went through,” Deion Jr. said. “When we get back in Boulder, I don’t know. I’m waiting until my dad leaves. When he leaves, then I’ll go. Until then, I’m gonna sit here with him.”

On Wednesday morning, Deion Sanders took to X with a lengthy post and some appreciation for all the prayers for him.

"Wow, I am truly blessed for the abundance of well wishes, for all the thoughts and all of the prayers," Sanders tweeted. "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I can assure you all that everything is OKAY and will continue to be so. God got me like no other.

"I have so much more work to do to Glorify God so please believe God got me! I'm excited to get back to Colorado to be at home with my staff, team & all associated to our program. When we arrive back to Boulder you will be updated on everything.

"Until then, I’M COMING BABY, #CoachPrime"

Over the weekend, Sanders also backed out of a previously scheduled speaking engagement in Florida.

Deion Sanders' post shows that he is planning on coming back to Colorado and will update everybody on everything when he returns to Boulder, although he didn't reveal when he would be back on campus.
