Colorado Buffaloes' Deion Sanders reveals he made a will amid health concerns image

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has recently been the subject of circulating rumors.

Sanders has been dealing with ongoing health issues but has yet to publicly clarify the nature of his condition. His son, Deion Sanders Jr., shared a week ago that answers would be coming soon.

“We headed back to Colorado next week," Sanders Jr. said. "It's a blessing. It's been a long journey, a long road and soon everybody will know the reason I haven't left this house this summer. ... Everyone will know in the next few weeks or so."

Those long-awaited answers are expected to be revealed on Monday afternoon. Sanders will appear alongside his medical team, though it remains unclear exactly what will be disclosed.

“On Monday, July 28, the college football world at large may be getting some answers on what may be on the horizon for the Colorado coach. Sanders will be holding a press conference alongside his medical team to provide 'team and general updates.' It will be his first news conference of the 2025 fall camp for the Buffaloes,” USA Today’s Kevin Skiver wrote.

The night before the press conference, a previously recorded video from May was posted, revealing something no one expected. In the video, Sanders shared that he had just finished drafting a will.

“Mentally, emotionally, last night was tough, yesterday was tough, because I had to make a will. That’s not easy at all, to think that you may not be here,” Sanders said.

The timing of this revelation, coming right before his press conference, is notable. It underscores the seriousness of his health concerns. Sanders could be approaching the end of his coaching career—and understandably so. If his health has deteriorated to such a degree, stepping away from coaching might be necessary.

Sanders has played a pivotal role in rebuilding the football program in Boulder. Now, all eyes are on his upcoming press conference, as fans wait to learn what lies ahead.
