Both Clemson and LSU play in Death Valley. Each one would say their home stadium is the "real" Death Valley, with LSU's Brian Kelly even joking that LSU is letting Clemson borrow that moniker.
Either way, Death Valley is always home(s) to good football teams. In 2025, the best offense in football will play its home games there. According to PFF, the Clemson Tigers own the best offense in football.
"Clemson’s passing attack projects as the nation’s best in 2025," PFF's Max Chadwick argued. "The Tigers feature PFF’s top quarterback in Cade Klubnik and PFF's third-ranked receiving corps. No other school placed in the top five of both lists."
Led by a potential number one overall pick Cade Klubnik, the Tigers figure to have a dynamic passing offense. Their running game might be weaker than it usually is, but Klubnik and company are strong enough to more than carry the load.
Chadwick added, "Clemson also has a top-10 offensive line, with five of the six offensive linemen who played 500 snaps last year set to return for 2025. The only real question mark for the offense is at tailback, with true freshman Gideon Davidson projected to start. But even he was the No. 4 running back recruit in the 2025 high school class."
Does this mean Clemson is title-bound? No, since there are other phases of the game. But it does give them a real shot at contending and means they're a pretty good pick to make the College Football Playoff and win the ACC.
