Clemson Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik finally had a breakout season during the 2024 campaign. After major questions started swirling about him not living up to his potential coming out of high school, he showed what he's capable of last year.

Klubnik took college football by storm, completing 63.4 percent of his pass attempts for 3,639 yards, 36 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He also picked up 463 yards and seven more touchdowns on the ground.

Looking ahead to the 2025 college football season, Klubnik is actually receiving some Heisman Trophy hype.

Should he live up to the high expectations he's facing entering the upcoming campaign, Klubnik will set himself up nicely for the 2026 NFL Draft. There is a very good chance that he could be a high first-round pick.

Keeping that in mind, a major prediction has come out about Klubnik when it comes to the NFL.

CBS Sports analyst Chris Trapasso has predicted that Klubnik will be drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

"The Rams secured a second first-round pick as part of their trade with the Falcons, who moved back into the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft to select James Pearce Jr. at No. 26 overall," Trapasso wrote. "And that pick is ultimately used on what everyone expects near the end of the Matthew Stafford era -- a quarterback. Like Stafford, Klubnik was a monster recruit who possesses elite-level arm talent for Sean McVay to mold in Los Angeles."

Landing with the Rams would be an awesome scenario for Klubnik. Stafford might play another year or two after the 2025 season, but a starting job would open up relatively quickly in Los Angeles for the Clemson star.

Of course, to make this kind of prediction come true, the Tigers' quarterback has to live up to the hype. Klubnik needs to have a strong 2025 season and then the rumors and rumblings about the 2026 draft will pick up steam.
