Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski and Co. have not been able to find first-team reps for Colorado Buffaloes football legend Shedeur Sanders so far this offseason during OTAs and mandatory minicamp.

There’s a very clear and obvious solution out there that can instantly fix that: trading Joe Flacco and/or Kenny Pickett.

SI’s Bri Amaranthus urged the Browns to consider making a move involving one of their veterans.

“One of the challenges of four quarterbacks is limited reps. If Cleveland wants to give a real chance to one of the rookies to develop this offseason, it may look to trade one of its veterans in Pickett or Flacco. It's possible that a move could be made before NFL Training Camp begins this July,” Amaranthus wrote.

Colin Cowherd claimed Cleveland’s coaching staff would be doing itself harm by not realizing what it had with Sanders and not finding first-team reps for him in the team’s four-man quarterback competition.

“I think the Cleveland Browns have stumbled into wild success,” Cowherd said on “The Herd.” “The coach and the GM didn't want to draft Shedeur Sanders two rounds after Dillon Gabriel, but he's crushing it—he's the best quarterback in camp. He's facing backups, but he's throwing to them as well. Success is not a straight line—it's not linear. Gabriel was getting the first-team reps, but not all of them now. The coaching staff cannot deny what's happening.”

From the sounds of it, carving out a role in Cleveland can soon become easier for Sanders.

Of course, that’s if he’s not the one who ends up traded instead.
