The Bill Belichick era in North Carolina is nearly underway, with the season set to begin in less than a month. However, Belichick has been making headlines—not for football, but due to his relationship with 24-year-old girlfriend Jordan Hudson.
Pablo Torre appeared on The Dan Patrick Show in May and shared that Hudson was labeled as the worst person by someone he has spoken to.
“One person said, 'she is the worst person I've ever dealt with on earth, and I've dealt with actual sociopaths.' I'm not saying that is everyone, I'm just saying this story is extreme,” Torre said.
Over the weekend, Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot delivered a speech after receiving the Bill Nunn Memorial Award. During her remarks, she revealed that Belichick would call and complain if he didn’t like her reporting.
“Cabot started to cover the Browns in 1991, when Belichick initially took over as head coach. She said in her speech that Belichick would call her and 'yell' at her if she wrote something he didn’t like,” Fox News’ Ryan Gaydos wrote.
Shortly after recounting Belichick’s past frustrations with her coverage, Cabot took a pointed jab at his current dating life.

“Now I totally understand why Bill gave me such a hard time,” Cabot said. “I was 28 at the time and he just couldn’t relate to a woman that old.”
It was a roast—one Cabot had apparently been waiting over 30 years to deliver. Hudson, however, wasn’t a fan, as evidenced by a repost on X.
“Not much of a 'laugh,'” the account wrote. “No wonder so many have contempt for the media, especially those who want to be the story rather than report on the story.”
Though Cabot’s remark was made in jest, Hudson clearly didn’t appreciate the humor. Whether intentional or not, Cabot seized the moment to take a playful shot at Belichick—joining much of the media in poking the bear.
