The North Carolina Tar Heels will travel just across the border to South Carolina to take on the Clemson Tigers for a Saturday showdown between two ACC teams.

The Tar Heels are the No. 8 team in the country. They've won their first two conference games, too, against Pitt and Florida State. The Tar Heels are 10-3 under head coach Hubert Davis.

North Carolina has several impressive wins under its belt this season. The Tar Heels have beaten No. 7 Oklahoma, No. 20 Arkansas and No. 10 Tennessee. They've lost to Villanova, UConn and Kentucky.

The Tigers are the No. 16 team in the country. They hold a 1-1 record in the conference, defeating Pitt, yet losing to Miami. They are 11-2 this season under Brad Brownell.

North Carolina is far and away the best team Clemson will see thus far into the season. Clemson has wins over TCU and No. 23 Alabama, but the rest of their schedule isn't as impressive.

The Tar Heels are led on offense by RJ Davis, who is averaging 21.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. He's shooting 39.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Clemson is led by 6-10 center PJ Hall, who is averaging 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game.
