The annual McDonald's All-American Game offers a glimpse into the future of college basketball and the NBA.

Tuesday's showdown between the best high school players in the country did not disappoint as the East completed a comeback win over the West, 88-86.

No. 1 prospect and Duke commit Cooper Flagg was this year's headliner, but it was his Montverde Academy teammate Derik Queen who stole the show for the East. Queen, a Maryland commit, came up with a timely steal and a pair of clutch buckets late in the fourth quarter to take home co-MVP honors. He shared the award with Dylan Harper, a Rutgers commit who paced the West's offense the entire night.

As always, this year's McDonald's All-American rosters were loaded with future high-major Division-I players. Kentucky led the way with three recruits, while Alabama, Duke, Indiana, North Carolina, and Rutgers all had two.

If you missed any of the action from the next generation of NCAA stars and NBA hopefuls, The Sporting News had you covered with live updates, highlights, and more from the 2024 McDonald's All-American Game.
