The 2023 NCAA Tournament features a few interesting No. 13 seeds that could present problems for the No. 4 seeds, and a few trendy upset picks as a result

No. 13 Furman meets No. 4 Virginia in the South Region, and No. 13 Louisiana meets No. 4 Tennessee in the East Region. No. 13 Kent State takes on No. 4 Indiana in the Midwest Region, and No. 4 UConn takes on No. 13 in the West Region.

Which 13 seed is the best bet for an upset?

Louisiana is interesting given Tennessee's late-season slide, and Pitino is always an interesting storyline in the tournament. Furman also will be a popular pick because of how they match up with Virginia.

Kent State, however, is a dangerous team out of the Mid-American Conference. Indiana split its last eight games, and they gave up 77 points or more in its last three losses. The Golden Flashes do not shoot well from 3-point range, however, so they need a few more of those to fall to pull off a first-round shocker.
