DURHAM, N.C. — Before the national anthem and before the starting lineups were announced for Wednesday's game between North Carolina and Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium, there was a very moving moment of silence for legendary Tar Heel coach Dean Smith, who died Feb. 7.
Both teams — players and coaches — gathered at midcourt.

Cameron has never been as quiet as it was in that moment. It was a very classy move by Duke, to honor the passing of the man Blue Devil fans love to cheer against for so many years.
