The Big 12 Conference announced the schedule matrix for the upcoming 2025-26 season, with Iowa State receiving its opponents.

Along with playing six league opponents at home and six others on the road once, the Cyclones will face off in home-and-away games with Baylor, Kansas and Oklahoma State.

Opponents were picked for each team based on a balance of travel and competitiveness. Each team receives three home-and-away teams to play along with six home and six road.

Iowa State will host Arizona State, UCF, Colorado, Houston, Texas Tech and West Virginia this coming season. They will take to the road for conference dates with Arizona, BYU, Cincinnati, Kansas State, TCU and Utah.

Houston won both the regular season and conference tournament titles last year, advancing to the NCAA Championship game. All total, the Big 12 sent seven teams to the tournament, putting together a 67 percent win percentage in those games.

The full conference schedule will be released at a later date.

As for non-league games in 2025-26, the Cyclones will face Fairleigh Dickinson, Grambling State, Mississippi State, Stonehill College, Alcorn State, Purdue, Iowa, Eastern Illinois, Long Beach State, Houston Christian and compete in the Players Era Festival.
