Suns' Bradley Beal has a delusional take about the NBA Playoffs image

Bradley Beal, like all high-level professional athletes, believes in himself.

Sometimes, though, that leads to goofy takes.

This is what the Phoenix Suns star said about his team's chances in the NBA postseason:

“We still can make a run," Beal said. "Obviously we’ve got to be healthy, get healthy, be available. The playoffs, anything can happen, man, but we’re a talented team and believe in what we can do. We’ve just got to give ourselves that opportunity.”

The health is obviously a key factor, with Beal's availability and decline in performance a big reason Phoenix has underachieved.

But Beal's comments came with the Suns a game out of the play-in tournament.

Even if Phoenix gets the 9 or 10 seed, they'll have to win two play-in games just for the right to take on the dominant No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Suns getting past the Thunder, after an already unlikely run to that game? Not gonna happen.

Beal will keep on believing, though, because that's what pro athletes do.
