Approaching its 20th anniversary, the Spectrum Center is the home venue for the Hornets. Located conveniently in Downtown — or "Uptown" — Charlotte, the Spectrum Center has hosted several NCAA Tournament and ACC Tournament games since opening in 2005.

Spectrum Center bag policy

In order to enter the Spectrum Center, all bags must adhere to the size requirements (5x7x1.5 measurements). Bags do not have to be clear.

The Spectrum Center does not offer a bag check or locker service for guests with bags that do not meet size requirements. Any bags that are too large must be returned to your car or hotel.

There are nearly 30,000 parking spots in parking lots and ramps within a 15-minute walk of the Spectrum Center. Most nearby options provide a short walk, bus ride or light rail connection to the facility.

Parking lots typically open several hours before the start of Hornets games. Specific times for other events can be found on the Spectrum Center website.

Parking at the Spectrum Center can cost anywhere between $10 and $30 on game and event days depending on the type of parking and location.

Spectrum Center transportation, rideshare and taxi options

If you are using a rideshare app, taxi or bus service to travel to an event at the Spectrum Center, you can direct the vehicle to the designated drop-off and pick-up zones. Rideshare pick-up and drop-off zones will be located along East Trade Street and South Caldwell Street.

Fans interested in public transportation can use the Lynx light rail blue line and get off at the CTC/Arena stop, which is right next to the venue.
