Prior to Thursday night's game between the Trail Blazers and Heat, Portland forward Nicholas Batum, a native of Lisieux, France, donned a T-shirt in honor of the victims of the terrorist attack that took place in Paris a day earlier.
The shirt displayed the phrase "Je suis Charlie," or "I am Charlie," a reference to the french magazine Charlie Hebdo, whose office in Paris was the site of the attack in which 12 people were killed.
