Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was a man on a mission at the 2022 NBA All-Star Game.

Ahead of the 71st NBA All-Star Game, it was revealed that Curry would be raising money for the Cleveland Metro School District with his performance.

He was set to donate $1,000 for every point scored, $3,000 for every 3-pointer and $10,000 if he won All-Star Game MVP.

Curry, who was born in nearby Akron was playing his first All-Star game in Cleveland and after years of fierce battles against the Cavaliers, he received plenty of boos pre-game, but they quickly turned into cheers as he lit up Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse with one of the best All-Star Game performances ever. 

Curry did what he does best, burying a flurry of 3-pointers on his way to 50 points, just two shy of the all-time scoring record set by Anthony Davis at the 2017 All-Star Game.

His 50-piece came on a scorching17-of-30 from the field and 16-of-27 from the 3-point line, on his way to winning the NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant MVP Award - the first All-Star Game MVP of his career.

With his 3-point explosion and MVP honors, Curry raised a total of $108,000 for the Cleveland Metro School District and along with the donation,

The Curry Brand will also provide Positive Coaching Alliance training to every basketball coach in the district.
