LeBron James used outside shooting to land a career-high 61 points, a Miami Heat single-game scoring record.

The previous record holder, Glen Rice, used a similar approach to score 56 points in the 1994-95 season, which stood until James' historic night.

James was 22-of-33 from the field in the Heat's 124-107 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, using an 8-of-10 night from the 3-point line to pile up points.
