The NBA season just tipped off Tuesday night, but Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is already in midseason form.
Before Tuesday night's win against the Warriors even started, he shared some thoughts with the media. When asked about his opposing coach and friend Steve Kerr, the San Antonio coach provided some great material.
Popovich on whether pal Steve Kerr still seeks advice: "I hate Steve Kerr. If he asked me anything, I'd tell him to go urinate in a bucket."

Harsh, but perhaps not quite as harsh as what he plans to do with recently retired Tim Duncan. During a sideline interview in the second quarter, Popovich acted as if the big man never retired.
