David Lee signs two-year deal with Spurs, report says image

With forward David West headed to the Warriors, the Spurs will bring in another David to fill his role. 

Forward David Lee has signed a two-year deal with the Spurs, with a second-year player option, his agent told The Vertical. Per the the San Antonio Express-News, the contract is worth $3.2 million.

Lee, 33, will serve in a big-man reserve role behind LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol as his days of being a full-time force in the paint are long gone. 

A two-time All-Star, Lee spent time with the Celtics and Mavericks last season averaging 7.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in just 16.4 minutes per game.
