The Clippers have traded guard Jared Cunningham and the draft rights to a former second-round pick to the 76ers in exchange for, well, not much.
Los Angeles announced on Wednesday that it had traded Cunningham, the draft rights to Cenk Akyol and cash considerations to Philadelphia for the draft rights to Serhiy Lishchuk.
The Clippers parted with Cunningham before a Wednesday deadline to guarantee his contract for the remainder of the season. The 76ers may not keep Cunningham, either. He is making $915,243 this season, according to hoopshype.com.
Cunningham, 23, averaged 1.8 points in 4.7 minutes per game for LA this season.
Akyol, 27, was drafted by the Hawks in the second round of the 2005 NBA Draft. Lishchuk, 32, was selected in the second round by the Grizzlies in the 2004 draft. The 76ers acquired Lishchuk's rights from the Rockets on Dec. 19 as part of a three-team trade that also involved the Timberwolves and was headlined by Corey Brewer.
