Chris Paul gives major update on imminent retirement timeline image

Chris Paul is one of the oldest players in the NBA currently.

He's played for seven different teams in his career throughout 20 NBA seasons.

He's currently looking for where he'll play next, which might end up being the last city he plays for in his career.

What is the update on Chris Paul?

In a recent interview with Chris Paul, he was asked how much longer he had left before retiring.

Paul was very honest with his answer, saying, "At the most, a year."

He's one of the few players to be as accomplished as he is in his career, yet he doesn't have a championship ring.

That has to be one of the driving factors in why he's still playing, but there comes a time when some dreams don't come true, and a player has to call it.

He's still giving it his all and can be a valuable asset to whatever team he joins next season.

Paul is still a durable player, as he just played in all 82 games in the 2024-25 NBA season.

Last season he averaged 8.8 PPG, 3.6 RPG and 7.4 APG.

He's currently a free agent and is looking for a city where he will likely play his last season.
