What Canadian players are in the NBA Finals?
Both the Thunder and Pacers have two players from Canada competing to lift the Larry O'Brien trophy.
The Thunder have 24-25 MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort.
The Pacers have Andrew Nembhard and Ben Mathurin.

All of these players except Mathurin competed on Team Canada last summer, as they advanced out of the group stage, but were eliminated by France in the quarterfinals.
Seeing Canadian representation is an indicator of the growth of the NBA and basketball throughout the world.
SGA's MVP this year extended the streak to seven years of international players winning the award.

Canada has begun to try and close the gap with powerhouses like Team USA.
They can be somewhat credited for forcing Team USA to bring out all of its top guns for Paris because they beat Team USA in 2023 at the FIBA World Cup.
