The Knicks remain in third place in the East entering Sunday, seven games back of the first-place Cleveland Cavaliers (30-4) and 4.5 games back of the second-place Boston Celtics (26-9).
New York received strong performances from both Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson vs. the Bulls, but it wasn't enough.
