For the Milwaukee Bucks, continuing to fill out the roster around franchise cornerstone Giannis Antetokounmpo remains high on the list of priorities heading into the 2025 season.
Depsite waiving Damian Lillard, the Bucks have made several key moves, highlighted by the signing of Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner to a 4-year, $107 million contract.
During an appearance on the Road Tripping Podcast, ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins spoke highly of the Bucks' offseason moves, particularly the addition of Turner.

“If you put Myles Turner on the Bucks, I think they are going to finish as a top-six seed in the Eastern Conference. Giannis Antetokounmpo has consistently been the best player over the last decade.
He added, “He’s going to give you 30 and 12 per night. I personally think he’s going to have another MVP-caliber season. I actually like the pieces that they have over there with the Milwaukee Bucks,” Perkins said.
Turner spent the majority of his career with the Indiana Pacers before signing with the Bucks; it was there he developed into one of the most reliable rim protectors. His elite shot blocking and ability to space the floor helped Indiana remain competitive in the Eastern Conference throughout the years.
Last season he played a pivotal role on a Pacers team that eliminated the Bucks and eventually made it all the way to the NBA Finals, where they fell to the eventual NBA champion, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With Turner in Milwaukee, the Bucks have added a proven interior force next to Giannis Anteotkounmpo. Turner's ability to space the floor should complement the Greek Freak and the Bucks efforts to return to title contention.
