The Rockets enter an offseason where their roster might be transformed a bit.

They had a disappointing end to their season after returning to the playoffs, losing in the first round as the two seed.

The status of some players is still in question, but we were given a huge update on the contract of one player.

Who did Houston re-sign?

ESPN's Shams Charania reported that the Rockets re-signed their center Steven Adams.

Adams is a fan favorite, and Houston will be delighted to bring him back.

Adams will be 32 next season, and just signed a three-year extension worth $39 million.

The Rockets were in the race for Giannis Antetokounmpo if he requested a trade, and are one of the teams pursuing Kevin Durant.

It'll be interesting to see if this decision has implications on their mindset around future moves if they were to move players in the frontcourt.

He has been one of the best offensive rebounders since entering the NBA and will remain in Houston after stints in OKC, New Orleans and Memphis

Adams played in a career-low 13.7 MPG in 58 games last season, playing after a full year out from injury in the 2023-24 season.
