The Warriors' core three players in Steph Curry (37), Jimmy Butler (35) and Draymond Green (35) aren't getting any younger, and while all are more than capable of being on a championship-level roster, the club's future remains as murky as their present.

Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. has his work cut out if he's going to find a perfect balance of allowing his aging superstars to compete in 2025 while also setting the franchise up for success once his big three are gone... and it could start with an intriguing sign-and-trade with one of their disgruntled young players.

In a trade proposal from Bleacher Report's Grant Hughes, the Warriors could explore signing Jonathan Kuminga to an extension right before sending him on his way to Chicago in a sign-and-trade deal with the Bulls.

Golden State Warriors receive: Coby White

Chicago Bulls receive: Jonathan Kuminga

For the Warriors, they can either let White walk after next season and open up some more salary after making a real decision on the futures of Curry, Butler and Green, or they could opt to sign him to an extension similar to what they'd have to give Kuminga this summer.

On the Bulls' side of things, they need to extend Josh Giddey this summer, and signing White to a similar extension in 12 months wouldn't make much sense despite his recent rise in play, while Kuminga fits a bit better alongside Giddey and surging rookie, Matas Buzelis.

Kuminga, 22, averaged 15.3 points per game this season while adding 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest.

Meanwhile, White continued his ascent into stardom as the 25-year-old guard scored over 20 points per game to go along with 4.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds a night.
