Want to feel old for a second? Trevor Ariza, a player whom many watched growing up, has a son who is a 2026 high school graduate. Not only does he have a son who's a 2026 high school graduate, but Tajh Ariza is one of the best players in the nation. Many have them as a top 10 prospect in the country.

According to ESPN, he's the No. 28-ranked Prospect in the country, including the fifth-best player in the state of California. He attends St John Bosco High School and has received offers from Alabama, Kentucky, Texas, UCLA, and many others.

In a recent mock draft from Bleacher Report, they had the Boston Celtics selecting him. Landing a son of a former NBA player could certainly go right, as Ariza was a great professional who did things right on and off the court.

“An injury forced Tajh Ariza to miss Peach Jam last month. But he made a strong impression on NBA executives during April's Nike Hoop Summit week with his defensive playmaking, athletic finishes and shotmaking flashes.

“A coveted recruit, Ariza should quickly earn NBA fans as a 6'9" wing with a three-and-D foundation,” Jonathan Wasserman wrote.

It's uncertain what his son could look like in the NBA, but he has the body to be a competent player at the highest level. The reality of the situation, however, is that until he gets to college and proves something at that level, it's tough to get a feel for what he can be.

If he's anything like his father was, the Celtics would be getting an above-average professional who will play the game for a very long time.
