The stage is set for a slice of NASCAR history, as the first-ever In-Season Challenge champion will be crowned at the iconic Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2025.

Last year’s edition saw Kyle Larson steal the spotlight in a heart-pounding thriller. Rolling off from the fifth spot, Larson bided his time and came alive when it mattered most—surging ahead in a chaotic double-overtime finish.

He may have led just eight laps, but his perfectly timed move during the final restart was executed with surgeon-like precision. Tyler Reddick and Ryan Blaney were hot on his heels, while Christopher Bell and Bubba Wallace rounded out the top five.

Meanwhile, Denny Hamlin added another feather to his cap this past Sunday, storming to victory at the 2025 AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400.

The Dover showdown had its fair share of drama, with rain pushing the race into double overtime—but Hamlin kept his foot on the gas and his nose out front, edging teammate Chase Briscoe by just 0.310 seconds. Alex Bowman claimed third, Kyle Larson settled for fourth, and Ty Gibbs locked in fifth.

Hamlin’s latest triumph marked his fourth of the season and the 58th of his Cup Series career, keeping his playoff hopes revving at full throttle.
