Earnhardt and Reimann, who have dated for four years, are in Germany on vacation during the Sprint Cup series' off-week. According to NASCAR.com, the picture accompanying her announcement is of the couple in a Lutheran church that Earnhardt's family attended seven generations and 300 years ago, he tweeted.

Earlier this year during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Earnhardt was asked why he hadn't proposed to Reimann and said, "I have a phobia that nobody knows about. I have a jewelry phobia. I know it sounds crazy, but that’s been the biggest holdup for me getting engaged or getting married."
